Sense and Sensibility

Sense and Sensibility  by Jane Austen The story took place in the niniteenth century and the plot of the book is focused on how women of the time were treated, you could say that it was gender discriminition. It's about a family of 5 members; Mr. and Mrs. Dashwood and their daughters: Elinor, Marianne and Margaret. The father death, caused they stopped having comforts and were forced to live in a cabin; since womwns weren't able to reserve the heritage. Elinor: She's the older sister, represent the sensem because she's judgmental and reserves in the expression of her feeling. Marianne: represent the sensibility, she's very impulsive person and a passion person. Both sisters fall in love and disappointed, and only time can shows the correct measure of sense and sensiblity. I loved this book, I fell in love with the characters of Elinor and Marianne, although different, but their love is very strong towards their family.
